Verteuil d'Agenais is a quiet village dominated by a small 12th century chateau which Henri IV used for his hunting trips. It is situated on a hill overlooking the valleys and hills beetween the rivers Lot and Garonne. There are many local attractions including a Café - Théatre - Bar, and organisation which produces classical music concerts.

The house is itself 14th century, and has been completely renovated in keeping with it's traditions. The spacious rooms are stylish. The gardens are terraced and mature.
